Steelcase NEXT Student Design Competition

This project reimagines the Los Angeles office for NEXT, a global law firm navigating the shift toward hybrid work, wellbeing-centered environments, and inclusive workplace culture. The design transforms 15,200 USF into a flexible, human-centered legal workplace that supports focus, mentorship, collaboration, and client engagement. Guided by Steelcase research, the proposal integrates a mix of private offices, hybrid-enabled meeting spaces, open work neighborhoods, and regenerative social zones—including a community hub, work café, town hall, and specialty rooms—to create a dynamic environment that fosters connection, equity, and high-performance legal work.
